Day of Compassion 2018

DOC 2018

Thanks to the support of the Rockford are community, the One Body Collaboratives second annual Day of Compassion was a great success!  It was a true collaboration of churches and ministries coming together with individuals in the community with the desire to serve our neighbors in need.

The event allowed us to create awareness for the work of One Body Collaboratives and our Gap Ministries; as well as our Compassionate Impacts project, a project of Transform Rockford managed by One Body Collaboratives that will promote “Service to all, and service by all”; as well as provide attendees the opportunity to personally experience the software platform that will allow our community to meet family needs collaboratively.

Highlights Include:

·       Items collected for 12 Gap Ministries stocking their closets with much needed items

·       Launch of

·       Announcement of a new Gap Ministry by Heartland Community Church

·       Generated interest in additional churches and organizations joining our Compassionate Impacts project, which now has 21 organizations connected to serve those in need

While we are already planning our 2019 event, everyday can be a Day of Compassion!  Please visit our website at to learn more about ways you can become engaged in helping our community, or contact Mary Cacioppi at to discuss personalized opportunities to help.
