Day of Compassion 2018

One Body Collaboratives Second Annual Day of Compassion will be held on Saturday, September 29 from 9:30 am – 11:30 am at Trinity Learning Center (TLC), 207 N First Street, in Rockford. An opening ceremony will be held at 9:30 am and will include a photo opportunity for community members to show their support of the Compassionate Impacts project.

Thanks to the support of the Rockford area community, last year’s event was a great success!  It was a true collaboration of churches and ministries coming together with individuals in the community with the desire to serve our neighbors in need.  The event allowed us to create awareness for the work of One Body Collaboratives and our Gap Ministries; and launch of our Compassionate Impacts project.

This years event will include 12 of our Gap Ministry partners collecting items for thier respective ministries. The event will also feature a performace by Emily Hurd from 10:00 - 11:30am.

Ways to participate include volunteering at the event, as well as hosting a collection drive at your church/place of business prior to the event.
