One Body Collaboratives Promotes Mary Cacioppi to Executive Director

One Body Collaboratives board of directors is pleased to announce the promotion of Mary Cacioppi to the role of Executive Director.  Mary joined the Leadership Team at One Body Collaboratives, a faith-based non-profit organization, in January 2017. The mission of One Body Collaboratives is to mobilize, further develop, and coordinate church and faith resources to rebuild lives and transform communities. In her new role, Mary will manage the overall operations of the organization including fund development, marketing and communications, and community outreach. She will also direct the Compassionate Impacts Project, a project of Transform Rockford managed by One Body Collaboratives, coordinating church and faith resources to meet the needs of our community. Mary brings 14 years of experience in the non-profit sector to the organization, as well as expertise in fund development, volunteer management and communications.  

“I am so blessed by this opportunity” said Mary, “I feel that this position is more of a calling to do the work that God has called me to do, and look forward bringing together church and faith resources to help those in need.”

Mary’s professional background in community and economic development provide her with a unique insight of our region. Through her previous role with the Rockford Area Economic Development Council (RAEDC), she worked on the launch of many community projects including Alignment Rockford and Transform Rockford. In a volunteer capacity, Mary produced and directed the inaugural TEDxRockford event celebrating the many positive attributes of the region.

Mary currently serves on the Rockford Area Case Management Initiative (RACMI) Steering Committee, and well as the Multi-Disciplinary Team for Focused Deterrence & Procedural Justice Team of Region 1 Planning. She is a past board member of Next Rockford, the Rockford Area Economic Development Council, Rockford Network of Professional Women, and the Boylan Alumni Network.

Mary holds a B.A. in business administration from Madison University and graduated with Honors Cum Laude. She is a past recipient of the Rockford Chambers 40 Leaders Under 40 and Woman Business Leader of Tomorrow awards, honoring her professional and volunteer achievements.
