2022 Focus Area: Mental Health

One of the focus areas of our Community Flourishing inititaive in 2022 is Mental Health.  Throughout this year, One Body Collaboratives will host a variety of educational events for our faith leaders to learn about resources in this area and also to learn from one another in regards to how Mental Health is discussed within our local churches. We have complied the resources below for your reference in this area:

ChurchPulse Weekly Conversations: Pete Scazzero on Emotional Health & Developing Leaders; May 19, 2021
The Church has the opportunity and responsibility to care holistically for the well-being of Christians. Too often, however, it can fall short, setting low standards for success within this realm of care.
In this ChurchPulse Weekly episode, second-time guest Pete Scazzero joins host Carey Nieuwhof to talk about the importance of leaders acknowledging their emotional health, how healthy leaders are developed and the consequences of avoiding grief.
